OK thanks guys. I've been trying to get more value out of my hands lately so even though I knew it was marginal I went with a b/f line. Could have saved myself some money by c/c here, he raised me. I think he had A8, A7, or AK if he was passive.
I'll keep looking for more chances to extract, but obviously I was looking in the wrong place here readless.

Right on. A7 or A8.
Ace is a very scary card for him. As played he won´t call it unless he knows he has your ace beat (that is if he isn´t a complete idiot, of course). If you are, in fact, ahead, then the only way to get more money out of him is to check/call a possible bluff (I can even see a check/fold here vrs some players). If he checks behind, then you will also get the benefit of seeing what he had.
Note: If this was an unraised pot, a river bet would make a lot more sense in terms of +EV as well as improving your table rep.
