10+1: JTo, steal?

I have not played a hand in 3 orbits. SB seems tight but BB is loosish. Good time for a steal attempt?

I wouldn't, for these reasons:
a. Your stack size. You're basically committing your whole stack if you try a steal here. J-high is risky
b. Its even more risky because of your read of the BB being loosish. If he was a bit tighter, then maybe this becomes a steal spot.
c. I find I catch myself thinking this way as well. Even though you know you haven't played a han in 3-orbits, and you yourslf pay attention to other's betting frequency, don't assume/expect anyone else is paying any attention to your playing style/frequency at all. If you've played with them long enough, you'll pick who is and isn't paying attention. Then you can try and exploit that if the chance arises.

Very good point. I find that a lot of hands posted here include "My image is tight" or something. Actually, you don't have an image as far as most opponents is concerned. Don't make plays because 'they think you're tight' because they don't think you're tight. They don't think you're anything.
